Une semi-grosse transaction nous arrive des plaines ensoleillées du Kansas alors que les Chiefs ont échangé Michael Bennett à Tampa Bay... Bennett, le backup de LJ depuis 3 ans pourra enfin nous démontrer s'il est effectivement aussi prometteur que les scouts le disent depuis plusieurs années. En devenant de facto le primary man avec les Bucs, Bennett pourrait surprendre. Et visiblement, ça met fin à l'expérience Earnest Graham qui était pourtant supposément un "must-have" selon les spécialiste de la planète pool .
Cette transaction nous permet de supposer deux choses:
1) LJ va pouvoir reprendre son rythme de croisière de l'an dernier avec 40 touches par match et se désintégrer à la semaine 15
2) Priest Holmes va effectivement revenir au jeu et être efficace dans certaines situations...On a bien hâte de voir ça, le Priest reste tout de même un favori de bien des poolers même si on parle ici de souvenirs heureux bien plus que d'une possible waiverisation, à moins que ce ne soit à titre posthume.
C'est tentant comme waiver mais Rosenthal a l'air de penser que ça va rester un comité de RB quand Pittman va revenir :

In Tampa, he gets his best opportunity for relevance because Earnest Graham doesn't provide much competition. And Jon Gruden has been known to revive veteran careers. Don't forget, though, that Michael Pittman could be back in the mix by the time Bennett knows the offense.
So Is Bennett worth owning in most leagues?
Bennett will improve some rosters in your league, but not all of them. He's a lottery ticket; a flier that is unlikely to sustain consistent value over the course of the season. If you have room, take a shot. But he's probably going to split carries or get hurt. While we're here, let's take a quick and dirty breakdown of those affected by the deal.
Earnest Graham - Role player wasn't ready for starting job. Could have a decent week against the Lions, but his time as a flex option may be running out.
Michael Pittman - Could still wind up starting December, but this move makes it more likely he'll be in a committee all year."
Ayant déjà eu Michael Bennett dans mon pool deux saisons, il peut effectivement être frustrant, pis ça c'était quand il était dans son peak.
